The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops
Noah Pinsonnault is a product review analyst for the Home Care and Cleaning Lab at Good Housekeeping.
He evaluates and tests cleaning equipment, with a focus on robot vacuums and mopping combos. These multitaskers are an excellent option for those who wish to take mopping off their to-do list. They have impressive mapping and obstacle avoidance capabilities, and some even wash and refill their mopping pads to give themselves a hands-off clean.
The Eufy S1 Pro
This is the model you need to choose if you want an automatic vacuum cleaner that can also mop. It's smaller than the other models on this list, making it easier to navigate through tight corners and under furniture. It features a 220-degree Lidar that, combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, offers some of my favorite navigation and avoidance capabilities I've seen in a robotic vacuum. It has a 4600mAh battery that can last up to 170 mins when cleaning and sucking are set to standard mode. (It can run longer when it is set to turbo). It will even return to its dock to recharge its battery mid-clean.
It is very efficient and does an outstanding job of cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It is able to vacuum carpeted rooms quickly, and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and hallways in just one pass. The suction motor's 8,000pa will quickly pick up dirt, droppings and pet hair. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it encounters rugs and the dual side brushes help pull away debris from corners.
The mopping performance is less impressive, though not by much. The mop rotates at a high speed and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly scraping away dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arms protrude out slightly more than other robots, which is useful to maneuver around tight corners and along baseboards. The same front arms can be used to clean up larger debris, like broken toys or books.
The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mop and vacuums I've tested. It is quieter and doesn't produce more noise when vacuuming or mopping. The only drawback is that the S1 Pro must use a exclusive cleaning solution for mopping, and is separate from the vacuum. It's simple to install and is effective however it's something you'll have to be aware of in case you're purchasing this vacuum for the sole purpose of it mopping.
robot vacuum cleaners uk stands apart from the majority of robot vacuums which mops in its class. It is a powerful cleaner with a wide range of features.
The device has an extremely powerful and impressive cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensors with an RGB camera to map the home and locate furniture and other obstacles. It can then use this information to clean methodically and effectively. This leads to an efficient, consistent clean that's also fairly fast.
The Q Revo DuoRoller mop pad can reach a variety of surfaces. These include corners, baseboards, and other hard-to-reach spots. The side brush can be stretched to reach the floor close to the walls and other fixtures. In addition, the mop pads can be cleaned and dried to prevent the build-up of dust and reduce the odors.
Another feature worth mentioning is the customization options that are available through apps. The Q Revo allows you to adjust the strength of suction and choose between a back-and-forth or slightly more random patterns. You can also select the number of passes, which will determine the speed at which it can move around your home. You can also deactivate the side brush to prevent damage to carpets and carpets.
The device is costly, but it comes with a lot of smart features. However, it's important to remember that it carries regular expenses in the form of mopping equipment and maintenance. For example, the brushroll will need to be replaced after 300 hours or every six to 12 months. The filter is recommended to be cleaned after 150 hrs, and the mop pads should be changed every three month.
This robotic vacuum cleaner has an excellent Amazon rating and includes an array of physical automation features. The robot vacuum also has an energy button that doubles as the 'Clean button' and a 'Home button to send it home after cleaning. It also comes with a multifunctional dock that automatically empty the trash bin, fills up its water tank and washes and dry its mop pads.
The Shark Matrix Plus
If you're a busy professional or someone who wants an organized home that doesn't require hours doing chores then the Shark Matrix Plus is a good option. Its incredibly fast performance, sophisticated navigation and long battery life allow you to maintain a clean house with little effort.
The Matrix Plus robot vacuum is a two-in-one mop and vacuum. It is capable of mopping and vacuuming. The robot is divided into two parts which include a dry bin and water tank that can be snapped out and in and a mopping module that is equipped with microfiber pads. It's a bit old-fashioned to have separate modules for mopping and vacuuming, but it does mean that you don't have to worry about changing the bags for disposables or refilling the tank with water.
Our test participants found that the Matrix Plus did a great job of vacuuming as well as mopping. Its greatest feature was its accurate floorplan that it uses to determine an outline for cleaning. It was easy for the Matrix Plus to navigate around furniture, rugs and other obstacles. The app also gives you the option to set "No-Go zones" as well as virtual barriers, which help to protect certain areas of your home from being scrubbed with mop.
The Matrix Plus also did a surprising job of collecting hair from pets. It was able to collect an enormous amount of hair that our cats shed and even got into the nooks and crannys of our stairs while other robots struggled. It was fairly quiet and even had some pleasant jingles that signalled when it was beginning or completing its task.
Its main drawbacks were its lack of sophistication and the necessity to swap out the modules when switching between mopping and vacuuming. The app isn't able to hold multiple maps, which can be a hassle for homes that has a variety of floors. The Matrix Plus is a good choice for people who want an intelligent robot that can do both mopping and vacuuming.
The Yiko X1 Omni
The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that can be found in our test, but it comes with some distinct features that are worth considering. The X1 Omni is most notable for its enormous dock that doubles as a charging base for the robot, a sink for cleaning and two 4-liter water tanks. It also houses the 2.5-liter dust bin as well as the 2.5 dust bin that is 2.5 liters.
The base has several control buttons, which allow you to manually start cleaning tasks or recall the robot, or run the dock’s auto-emptying procedure. Hold down two of the buttons to turn off the child lock, which is a nice touch for parents worried about kids tinkering with the vacuum.

The X1 Omni, like other robotic vacuums, utilizes its camera to spot obstacles and furniture that are in its path. It will avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.
This can cause the X1 to become stuck when it gets entangled in a hazard, such as the power cable that is draped over a rug. It won't function until you remove it manually. This is a rare event, but frustrating nonetheless, since the X1 does not have a "stuck status" alert in its app.
Another potential downside is another issue is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between vacuuming and mopping modes during cleaning. You'll need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad however, mopping pads don't get cleaned or dried between uses. This can lead to mildew and mold.
On the bright side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who conceptualized its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad. It's a big departure from the utilitarian, all-black bases used by competitors like Roborock and iRobot and a pleasing view in a market that is dominated by bulky boxy models.
